The Simpsons are in intensive language and culture learning, preparing for their work in Peru. Let’s pray for God to strengthen them in this very stressful and challenging time.

 

Haiti Earthquake Survivors

Pray for the hundreds of thousands of people who have survived the earthquake in Haiti. There are 500 Nazarene churches in Haiti and over 115,000 disciples. It is not yet known how many churches have been damaged or destroyed or how many of our people lost their lives. Undoubtedly thousands are homeless.

Men's Softball Sign-up

Sign up for the East Liverpool Christian Men's Softball League on the bulletin board by the elevator. Cost is $40 per player.

 

Pastor's Membership Orientation

On Sunday, March 14 at 4:30 Pastor Merrill will conduct a Membership Orientation Class. If you are interested in knowing more about our church, this is your opportunity to learn about EL First's history, beliefs, organization and ministry philosophy. Pastor Merrill will also answer any questions you may have.

Centennial Celebration

   The weekend of June 25-27 East Liverpool First will celebrate 100 years of ministry to our community. Friday night will be an evening of music, a banquet on Saturday evening and a great celebratory worship on Sunday morning with General Superintendent David Graves and District Superintendent, David Downs.

Baptism Service

Our Lord Jesus himself was baptized and every disciple of his has the opportunity to follow his example in this important sacrament. If you would like to be baptized on Sunday morning, March 28, please call the church office or speak to Pastor Merrill.

Faith Promise Sunday

On March 21st we will again make our faith promises to God for the amount we will give for the support of Christ's world mission this year. Missionary to the Philippines, Eric Zane will be telling us about his ministry there.
