Our Core Values
We are a Christian People
We are members of the Church Universal and join with all true believers in proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in embracing the historic Trinitarian creedal statements of the Christian faith. We value our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage.
We Are a Holiness People
God, who is holy, calls us to a life of holiness. We believe that the Holy Spirit, through a second work of grace, cleanses us from all sin, renews us in the image of God, empowers us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves, and produces in us the character of Christ.
We Are a Missional People
We are a people called by Christ and sent by the Holy Spirit to proclaim Christ around the world. Our mission begins in worship, ministers in evangelism and compassion, encourages believers toward Christian maturity through discipleship, and prepares women and men for Christian service through Christian higher education.
I love getting to know people and making new friends. I still love and value the youth and young adults in our culture, mentoring them and encouraging them is something I will always do because I love this generation’s energy and willingness to be and go to be agents of change in their world. I just want that focus to be on bringing Jesus to a lost and dying world in desperate need of Jesus Christ. Yet, within this context I have realized God draws to me the marginalized and hurting people, over time I wondered why? It’s because in my journey I was one of those. I was a marginalized, hurting individual in need of God’s redemption and grace.
I want to bring a desire for God’s word, but to put his word into action. To take grace, mercy, and love to all corners of the community and spread it and see where it lands, to bring forth God’s rich harvest. I am an advocate for disciple-making, for that is the mission of the Church, “To go and make disciples.” Where do we go? Anywhere and everywhere we can that will let us just shine the Love of Jesus.
Servant leadership is key, I will work hard in the Church and out in the community, however that is not just my job, but Our Job!! We are all in this together, I need you as much as you need me. This community needs to see you, actively loving them and pursuing them as Jesus lovingly and actively pursued you and me.
I am ready to get to know you and love this church and community, because I already do. I challenge you: ARE YOU READY TOO?
God is Good all the Time, and All the Time, God is Good!!!
Grace and peace to you and your families,
